What is the value of Codify by AAPC?

Codify is AAPC's revenue cycle platform that delivers users the fastest tool for code look-up, and so much more. Depending on your subscription, Codify also includes tools for crosswalks, scrubbers, groupers, edit checkers, plus numerous add-ons, depending on your needs.

How often is the code data updated?

Codify’s data is updated regularly to ensure the information provided to you is as accurate as possible. CPT® and ICD-10 codes are updated annually, and HCPCS Level II codes and NCCI edits are updated quarterly.

Does Codify by AAPC include historical data sets?

Yes, Codify users are able to toggle between both current and historical guidelines. Codify has past fee schedules, code changes (including New, Revised, and Deleted code lists), LCD/NCD data, articles, coding clinics, regulatory publications, E/M guidelines, and NCCI or NCCI edits. The Symbols data is not included in this information.

Does Codify support both inpatient and outpatient codes?

Yes, Codify Complete supports both inpatient and outpatient code sets. The other Codify subscriptions only support outpatient codes.

Does Codify by AAPC provide any CEUs?

Codify offers the ability to earn up to 20 CEUs annually by logging in and reading through the Survival Guides and completing Quizzes under the CEU tab.
