Wiki Medicare Telehealth

2024 I have a provider that is at home using audio/video telehealth for a patient that is physically in our physician's office. What modifier/POS combination can I use to bill this? 95/11? I don't see anything post COVID to support this combination.

According to the CMS 2024 MLN (https://www.cms.gov/files/document/mln901705-telehealth-services.pdf) I think that POS 02 Modifier 95 is what you want to bill.

Hello, I would like to ask if telehealth for a hospice patient is allowed and if so, how is that billed? I cannot find any document for this specific item. Thanks.

Have you guys had any issues with POS 10? I'm being told that most insurances only want POS 02 over POS 10 regardless of where the patient is. To me, we should use the POS that coincides with where the patient is, but apparently not all payers are accepting both place of service codes? I would have thought most are wanting POS 10 so they're not paying at a facility rate lol.

Hey all . . . .Just adding to this thread. I work manly with anesthesia professionals, however we do have a clinic that started providing telehealth (audio/video) services during COVID. Can anyone provide some clarification for me if these will still be paid by Medicare in 2025?
