Wiki Billing 94660 with EM

New to pulmonary coding. Provider is billing a 94660 with a E&M for a patient seen for CPAP management and 1 other chronic condition with prescription drug management. Was told by manager that if other conditions or issues in addition to the sleep apnea was addressed the EM would be more appropriate.
Any thoughts?

I know that this is long after the question was asked - but, since no one has responded, I'll just go ahead and answer it. And the proper answer is "No". CPAP managment 94660 is bundled in E&M services and cannot be unbundled with a modifier per CCI.

If you check the CCI for 94660 with any E&M code, you will see that 94660 is a column 2 code conflict due to "CPT Manual or CMS manual coding instructions" and a modifier is not allowed. We use EncoderPro, but you can look it up in any coding software, or on the CMS website for the NCCI.
