Wiki Help finding a beginner coding and/or insurance verification position

Hi all,
I need to find a beginning billing/coding position or a position with insurance verification. I have had my CPC since 2021 and have yet to find a position. They all require experience or someone else has a better edge than I do. Help! what do people recommend.

Get involved with AACP chapter in your area. Also apply at ambulance EMS billing, lab, or insurance billing or insurance/payer companies. Or try to apply for hospital clerk on the floor or registration clerk at clinic or urgent care. After while there then apply for coding department in their company.,Also check in Linked End site or name of medical company get name of coding managers then send email and cover letter to them.I d send both email and hard copy.

@cbutterweck: This is what I'm very scared of! If my 16-week CPC course & final exam is going to be worth the debt of a school loan, etc. I will be completing my 16-week CPC course the week prior to Thanksgiving & my FINAL EXAM is scheduled 12/21/2024 @ 9AM. I, will, FORTUNATELY, become a CPC (if I pass the exam) as my course removes 1 year of my "A" & I have a letter of recommendation from a previous manager from work experience that will remove the 2nd year of my "A". Did you complete your course & Final Exam as a CPC-A or CPC?
